    Ran this trail off Rte 14 (Poudre River Canyon rd) this weekend. Trailhead is across from the Kelly Flats campground. Plenty of parking and room for a couple of trailers. Easy to locate trailhead. Trail is great for groups. Offers serious challenges in Heart Attack Hill and the Chutes for the most built rigs and by-passes for those not quite ready. The rest of  the trail offers some challenging obstacles for near stock vehicles but virtually no risk of body damage. Depending on group size and ability, the trail can be done in anywhere from 2 – 4 hours. Numerous scenic areas and views along the way to stop for lunch. Excellent campsites off the trail as well.

    I had intended to do this trail with Bald Mountain (trailhead close to end of Kelly Flats trail) and the Greenridge trail, which exits back onto Rte 14, but they were closed. If opened the three trails together would make a good weekend trip.
